Do you offer Flux dev or Flux schnell?

No. They are a generation behind and the quality gap is large enough that carrying them would mostly serve people arriving from old tutorials. Flux 2 Pro is the one we publish.

Flux 2 Pro or Nano Banana Pro?

Flux 2 Pro is text-to-image only — it takes no image input on this endpoint, so it cannot continue from a reference. Nano Banana Pro can, which is why that one is in the reel pipeline and this one is not.

Can I use it inside a reel?

Not currently. Reel needs a model that accepts a character reference; Flux 2 Pro generates from prompt alone. Its output can still be uploaded as a reference for another model.

Flux 2 Pro

Flux 2 Pro is Black Forest Labs' present flagship. Flux earned its reputation on the earlier dev and schnell weights, which is why most tutorials still point there — Flux 2 Pro is a different and considerably better model, and it is the one worth using for a storyboard frame you intend to keep.

A Generation Past Flux Dev

Flux dev and schnell are the weights that made the name; Flux 2 Pro is what BFL ships now. If you have only tried Flux through an older tutorial, this is not the same model.
